January Thaw

The days are getting longer and the brighter colors are my favorites this week. I have been making earrings and pendants with beads I made after an autumn trip to the southwest.  Even though there is a blanket of snow, I can envision the smell of the earth and spring bulbs nudging their way toward the light.
