I have been just BEING inside the studio for several days now, connecting with the space and looking for new inspiration in what is here. Tabletop collections of last summer's bead creations and partially designed fantasy pieces remain undisturbed. So much has happened since I left last September. My mind looks for a place to begin. Ah the blank canvas looms. Outside dried vines, and containers filled with brittle stems, and brown curled leaves are all that remain of once colorful petals, leaves, and warm soil; a stark reminder of times gone by. Its easy to get lost in the memories and drift in the space that lingers here.......waiting for a call to action. I need to get out of my head & how things "should be" and just get back into something that will warm my winter heart and open me to the magic of spring and new growth. Working in the garden is a fine place to center myself and begin to transition back to being here now.
