Wax Mono Print Notecards by Diana Carr and Felted Eggs by Leah Carnahan are the latest in the Cabin Fever Reliever Series I created for CLAAS (Christina Lake Arts and Artisans Society) at the Arts on 3 Gallery at the Christina Lake Welcome Centre. It's a series of free sampler workshops for the public to try a variety of different mediums taught by local instructors. It has been such a great way to get out and let our inner artist play in the cold and grey that has hovered over this landscape for most of the winter and early spring.

Yay there's bare sand on the beach, but the lake is still frozen with pretty shoreline patterns. I just had to take the beads out in the sun for the sparkle and shine. I Love these pics of my Beachy Necklace in a Paua (Abalone) shell as the colors are so similar. This necklace is featured in the current issue of The Flow Magazine.
Still lots of snow, rain and grey skies in this recent glass palette. The lake is frozen but the creek is raging so lots of movement, bubbles and the sound of fast falling water. And of course my chickens contribute with their blue eggs. Trying to capture it all now as soon I'll be surrounded by the soft greens and colorful flowers of spring . Carpe Diem,,,be in the moment
